Dr. Poff was a family practice physician who believed deeply in the responsibility of caring for patients in their own homes. Through his house calls, he brought medicine beyond the walls of the clinic and into the place where life actually happens—where trust is built, families are known, and healing becomes personal.
As a young boy, Dr. Kelly witnessed these house calls firsthand while growing up in Dr. Poff’s home. He saw the relationships he built with patients, the respect he earned through presence and consistency, and the quiet impact of medicine practiced with dedication and humanity. That experience shaped a lifelong understanding that true healthcare is not transactional—it is relational, continuous, and grounded in trust.
This model of care, now carried forward as Doctors House Call within Precision Outcomes Medicine™, is a continuation of that philosophy in a modern form—combining home-based evaluation, structured physical examination, and data-driven outcomes tracking.
A place of honor is held within the practice for Dr. Poff’s original leather medical bag and historical photographs of his house calls, preserving the legacy that inspired this work.
